Boil up some good old turmeric milk with cinnamon and honey, as advocated by our grannies long ago!

Add turmeric to your juices and smoothies, Simmer turmeric with coconut milk and honey to make a hearty and comforting vegan beverage.

Add a pinch of Himalayan turmeric to your ubtan/face pack for a beautiful glow.

Add to curries for a warm flavour.

Combine haldi with olive oil, garlic, black pepper and fresh herbs such as coriander, parsley or mint for a beautiful marinade.

HERE’S A QUICK FIX HALDI DOODH (TURMERIC LATTE) RECIPE TO STRENGTHEN IMMUNITY:

Ingredients

● 1 cup Whole milk Or Coconut/Soy/Almond milk
● 3/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
● 1 teaspoon honey
● 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (ground) or pepper powder, reduce it to a pinch if you prefer less spicy.

Instructions

1. Mix together all the ingredients in the pan and bring it to boil.
2. Simmer for a minute or so and switch off the flame.
3. Sip slowly while still hot
